Warm air rises, so it is considerably warmer up under the roof than at floor level – and that is exactly where many installations put the component that copes with heat least well: the driver. We put it down in the control cabinet instead.

With the driver in the control cabinet, it is changed at floor level. The luminaire stays where it is and work in the hall carries on. Under the roof the same job would need an access platform – in the heat, and often outside shift hours.
