LED for municipalities.
Streets, sport, schools, administration.

Municipalities operate street lighting, sports halls, sports grounds, schools, administrative buildings and depots – and pay the electricity bill for all of them. At the same time, the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive is tightening the requirements for public buildings. LED with controls cuts costs in every area.

Projects in sport and municipalities

Im Sondershausen sports centre the energy demand for lighting fell by 68 %. At the Rehberghalle in Roßdorf LED modules were fitted into the existing ball-impact-resistant fittings – with 49.9 % less lighting energy and integration into the existing KNX control system.

Street lighting and pole-mounted luminaires

The Series 16 street light offers up to 167 lm/W, IP66, IK08 and 10 kV surge protection. We can supply poles on request; foundations, groundwork and installation are carried out by a specialist contractor. More on the page LED pole lights.

Public buildings leading by example

The EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive requires new public buildings to meet the zero-emission standard from as early as 2028. Existing non-residential buildings are subject to obligations for building automation and automatic lighting control. Details in the guide EPBD and lighting.
